LO SO SHING BEACH
Hideaway in Lamma Island, Hong Kong
Hidden down a set of tree-fringed stairs on the west coast of Lamma Island, this long stretch of sand is far enough away from civilization to curb the crowds, yet still has basic services.
If you take a 15-minute detour from the Family Trail (heading west from the hilltop pavilion), just can follow the signs to reach this relatively empty beach. As Lamma is a car-free island, you'll have to make your way there on foot. Once you arrive, there’s nothing stopping you from jumping into the waves.

Ferry from Central Pier 4 to Sok Kwun Wan and follow the Family Walk. Lo So Shing is roughly 15 minutes walk from the hilltop pavilion.
